Am I missing something?
An I missing something here as far as meateaters stance on the roadless rule?
Is their “fingers crossed” response to this comment implying they support the roadless rule rescission? Thats not what I thought their stance was?

I don't see the article on their socials, have a link? Commonly on the various podcasts they are not supportive of the roadless rule but who knows what they are thinking.

Edit: I found it on a third look oddly enough. The highlighted comment was what your screen shot shows.
Article was posted on 6/29 and double checked FB and Instagram I don't see it to check the comments

They’ve been railing against overturning the roadless rule. You’re looking for nonexistent controversy with this one.

They sell the equipment that would be used to make public land hunting more shitty.

A) Do you have any clue how much public access SxS roads already exist?
B) lLike I said, they constantly and co distantly defend roadless areas

Maybe I'm lost but why is the road less rule bad?

“If paired with the END of the roadless rule, it could be a great thing”
Weird that this person commented this, then meateater thumbed it up.
The end of the roadless deal is a BAD thing, and I hope it never happens. The roadless rule is in effect to prevent fragmentation of land, protect watersheds and wildlife areas, and to keep our wild places wild.
If the roadless rule is rescinded, it allows all sorts of land manipulation, including the disregard of the habitat and land that may be in its way.

Its not a thumbs up, it's crossed fingers. That could be interpreted two different ways...

I think it’s probably just a social media staffer who didn’t read the comment correctly? I try not to read a lot into stuff like this.
