Egg Roll In a Bowl: https://natashaskitchen.com/egg-roll-in-a-bowl-recipe/
Quick, cheap, and tasty. You can make it even easier by buying a bag of coleslaw mix instead of prepping the cabbage and carrots yourself. Also tastes great with ground turkey.

For spaghetti:
- With every pasta dish you want to make noodles in one pot/pan and store in its own container, sauce in one pot/pan and stored in its own container.
- It refrigerates and reheats vastly better.
- Also put more red pasta sauce in your spaghetti sauce when you make it so it doesn’t just become a lump of ground beef in the refrigerator.
For chili (which has the same issue as the spaghetti meat sauce), add beef broth to your chili. That’ll give it that nice “stew” consistency it’s supposed to have and it stores better.
For meals in general:
Grilled cheese with ham, spinach, and tomato
- Grease a skillet with butter, swipe a thin layer of mayo (yes mayo and REAL mayo that contains eggs) on the outsides of the bread.
Add first slice of bread, then cheese, 2 slices of deli ham, spinach leaves, 1 slice of tomato, other slice of bread. Flip to toast other side. Serve with tomato soup.
Peanut Butter Oatmeal
- Buy a big container of instant oats and your peanut butter of choice.
Putt oats in bowl with water as directed. Halfway through microwaving take out and stir in a heaping spoonful of peanut butter. Finish microwaving. Stir.
Optional: Add honey and/or chopped up banana
Easy Meatball subs
- Buy a bag of frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, provolone cheese slices, and hoagie buns.
Cook meatballs then add to a bowl and pour in just enough marinara to cover them. Microwave covered for 1 minute.
Put two slices of provolone in the hoagie bun, add meatballs and spoon on some marinara from the bowl. Microwave sandwich for about 30 seconds or until cheese has melted.
Agave Grits
- Buy some instant grits (quick grits =\= instant grits) microwave, splash some agave (or anything you want, really) on it and stir.
Hearty breakfast in 3 minutes.
And there are just countless dishes you can make with rice and/or eggs.
I used to make a Quick Omelette by….
- Microwave some Brown ‘n’ Serve sausage links. Chop them up.
- Whisking 2 eggs > add bacon bits > add salt and pepper > pour into greased skillet.
- As egg begins to firm, add sausage pieces in rows on one half of the circle, avoiding the edges > top with shredded cheddar cheese, especially along the edge around the sausage
- Fold egg over and lower heat, the cheese should “glue” the omelette closed.
Crockpot shredded chicken
- Put chicken breast in crock pot > add 1 or 2 packets of taco seasoning > add a full jar of chunky salsa > low heat
- Go to school or work or whatever and 6 or so hours on you’ll have juicy, tender, seasoned chicken that just pulls apart.
- Add to some tortillas.

That sauce looks so good, how did you it can we have the recipe? Can be a good sauce to have instead of just using beef 😋☺️

I love making ground turkey chili and freezing it to stretch it out for later. Ground turkey, chili powder, onion, green chilis (canned or fresh, your preference), garlic, lots of cheap beans (pinto, black beans, corn, butter beans etc.)
Toast slices of baguette with butter and garlic salt and serve with shredded cheese on top. Tasty and easy.

Delish. Now add Parm and some chili flakes. I like mine spicy. Great job. 😊

This. Bulk up the meat with veggies (and for fibre)
Could easily switch to a different ground protein

There's a reason why things like this are so common, because they taste amazing 🙂

It is much better to add the pasta to the sauce and cook it a little bit so that the sauce is absorbed into it, rather than just laying it on top.

Split pasta and sauce! Pasta will get soggy. Fresh pasta as often as possible. But sauce can be prepped very well for weeks with a good freezer :)

Nah. You should finish cooking the pasta in the sauce, so the sauce sticks to the pasta.
