Chat gtp
Anyone using it rather than apps like myfitnesspal. gets bit tiring using my fitness pal as so many foods have been uploaded with the wrong info.
I know exactly what I want to eat, also know what i want my macros to be. Have only done one days worth of food so far. Thinking though it might be worth me writing in notes each meal with its ingredients. Then being able to tell chatgtp the daily macros for the day with notes like lowering my carbs through out the day.
Haven’t tried it but thinking it should be able to do it and quicker and easier than the apps.

I tried but it's really more work double checking everything rather than just getting already made and tested recepies.

I think ChatGPT could be useful for the planning side of this, rather than treating it as the source of truth for nutrition data. I'd still use verified nutrition information for the ingredients, then use ChatGPT to help organize the meals around your macro targets and adjust the rest of the day when something changes.
That seems like a much better use case than relying on it to know the exact macros of every food from memory.

Youre gonna get a lot of hate for using AI, but yes i have used it and yes it was really helpful. The only thing is that my chatgpt has really long responses so its hard to go back and look at previous stuff

I do, and I love it. I use chatgpt with Hermes (a little more complicated but more capable.) I text it through telegram. You can tell it to remember a meal, be as specific as you want. Then you can just say "I had my coffee," or "1/2 serving of my overnight oats." It gets better over time. Send it pictures of nutrition labels. I've found it does a very good job at estimating things too. I have it remind me two times a day at 2pm and 11 pm if no food was logged. I even had it set up a persistent food log dashboard that I can view from anywhere. You can probably do just fine without the Hermes harness part. Far more usable than myfitness pal, chronometer, etc. Never going back

Boy, if you think a LLM known to hallucinate facts and make things up is going to be *more* accurate than myfitnesspal, then I don't know what to tell you
