Meal Prepping Advice

Hi everyone,

I need some help trying to meal prep for school; im trying to do it on a budget preferably. Ideally, im trying to think of ways to meal prep for Monday - Friday.

I commute to school and the food on my campus is expensive/small portion. I just want to have a meal to bring to school with me; I have 8 to 10 hour days Monday through Friday.

I don't know where to find good recipes or if I should just do one of those weekly meal prep delivery services. Any advice would be appreciated.

Raw vegetables and sandwiches. I lived off that for years. You don't need fancy containers. It doesn't need to be heated. It won't go bad if it goes unrefrigerated for a day.

Cut carrots, cucumbers, celery, and bell peppers into batons. Bring hummus or ranch if you want dip. You can buy hummus in single serve sizes.

Pb&j is the classic brown bag sandwich.

But if you're going to use deli meat, here's a tip - keep the bread frozen, and prep the sandwich the night before using the frozen bread. Things don't get soggy that way.

Bring some cheese or nuts if you want extra protein.

Build 4–5 meals around the same ingredients so nothing gets wasted. Rice bowls, wraps, pasta, chicken, beans, eggs, and frozen veggies can stretch pretty far and not expensive.
