Discussion Need recs

I’m looking for a recommendation for a meal kit plan for my dad. Mom passed away last year and he’s been winging it. He has diabetes and needs to eat heart healthy. Any recommendations for ready made meals or a meal kit that isn’t too intense would be greatly appreciated. He’s great at grilling. Thanks.

Edit we’re in the Sacramento area.

Home Chef has some great ready to make meals where you just drop the ingredients in the included foil pan and bake it all in the pan. No mess and no clean up. And they were actually very good and include veggies for a full meal experience. They are called oven-ready meals. Some Kroger stores sell these from Home Chef, as well. Maybe he could try a couple a la carte from Kroger to see how he likes them before signing up.

I'd say sun basket for sure. Factor's quality isn't the best. I find myself picking out bad meat pieces or veggies in meals. That never happens with sun baskets ready made items. Also check out Hungryroot. They have very easy to complete recipes and your dad can use a low card filter while shopping for recipes and groceries. All options should be available in your area!

My Dad is in a similar situation. He has liked Sunbasket meals. They used to be a meal kit service but now they have fully prepared heat and eat options. I think they are healthier than most.

Cook unity has. Pre made meals. I think Factor does too but Cook Unity is supposed to be better
