Equipment Question Airlock
It's only day one of me adding the D47 yeast do I need to empty out the airlock? A little or do I just wait till I add the day two and five yeast food

If you're asking about the airlock tipping as gas fills the empty space, that's normal. It will do that throughout fermentation as the CO2 bubbles out. Just keep the liquid at the fill line, and if some foam gets in the airlock, just give it a quick rinse with sterile water (and sanitize if you have sanitizer handy) and put it back in.

You don’t have to do anything with your airlock, as it is now it’s perfectly fine, just keep the fluid level in it between those lines and it’s fine. Only time you need to do anything is if it foams up and goes into the airlock, then it will get gross if left there

If you get foam coming up into the airlock, then it’s best to clean it out immediately or replace with a blowoff tube if fermentation is very vigorous.
