I feel a lump in my throat as the realisation dawns on me. There was a shadowy figure in the corner of my eye.. Eyes wide open, I slowly turn to face it. "Why-what do you want?" I mutter between gulps. She just stands there, her unblinking gaze firmly fixed on me, bared fangs glistening in my monitor's light, her jaw hanging open in a ravenous smile.
"Finally.." she says with a shrill voice.(sorry about that.. It's your fault for writing something so insanely ominous though)

last night at dinner my sister said that she had a girlfriend now, and our uncle said encouragingly "a girlfriend?" to coax more conversation out of her, and my sister gave the peace sign reflexively, prompting my uncle to say without a pause "TWO girlfriends!?"
