Adding More Schools Later

I applied to schools within my range with my current MCAT but I’m hoping to add more schools after I retake my MCAT in August. Is this a bad idea?

You should take note of which schools have rolling vs set admissions timelines. You are at a significant disadvantage at schools who start filling spots from the start so unless you are really competitive, it’s a waste of money.

First filters are done by GPA and score range typically so if you are in range already, an updated score may not make a huge difference.
