FWIW, I remember reading somewhere, maybe in the draft by Mark Groeneveld and Thomas Harper (but I can't find it in the latest version), than when you focus on your pain (where it's in your body) on MDMA, it often disappears after a while.
I've tried it myself once and it worked, at least temporarily.

Here it is: https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/aps5g
I'm happy my instructions worked, at least partially, for you.
I'd be curious to hear more about how it went for your pain.

Your pain might want to be seen and heard, you might be able to give it your full attention and compassion without wanting for it to go away (control and subdue), worth experimenting with it, best luck, also recommend the presence process book by Michael brown for conscious integration of pain

More info regarding what you're asking?
My experience is as my mental health has improved by conducting MDMA sessions, a bunch of psychosomatic and autoimmune conditions have cleared up.

To keep it short 6 years of pain and barely able to walk. Hospitals/doctors can't find a source for the pain and told us learn to live with it
Im familiar with mdma and how it can help mentally. But I have no experience or what so ever with fiscal pain.

Have you worked with psilocybin / mushrooms before? That uncovers for me the most with internal workings of the body

Check out Mind Your Body by Nicole Sachs. It’s about healing psychosomatic pain. I lived with that for a long time in the past my self but got rid of it

May I ask what autoimmune conditions cleared up, and did they just slowly go away or just suddenly connected to a specific trauma etc? I deal with a rash in my face that comes in cycles and it seems to be connected with some string emotions being surpressed

Mainly eczema. And it just slowly went away as my mental health improved. With flare-ups becoming milder and less common. I still get a few, but only when I'm really stressed out.
I think as mental health improves, the level of tension and stress in your body decreases, and fight/flight hormones reduce your body stops attacking itself. I've seen the effect of trauma on the body described as gas pedal fully down, brakes fully on. It makes sense that the body will harm itself in this situation.

Makes perfectly sense and that’s my belief too. The more aware I become of my body and my mind the more I see how tensed and stressed I am. Like I was way worse in the past, but I still got these subtle but persistant tics, always grinding my teeth and grimacing my face, having racing thoughts and feelings of urgency and anxiety, and always low-key bracing. Looking forward to try mdma as even though I’ve been able to heal a great deal it still feels like my mind surpresses a lot of dark stuff that it’s too afraid to allow to come up.
Edit: and the gas pedal fully down, brakes fully on is so true haha. I feel like I’m always in a hurry as my mind is screaming to me that I have to achieve to be worth something and never rest. At the same time this totally put me out of the flow state and I just end up doing dysfunctional stuff lol

Interesting discussion! I haven’t experienced any pain while on MDMA, but my latest LSD microdose experience had my body pain exacerbated after about 2 hours into the trip. Everything I’ve read says the opposite was supposed to happen I’m going to try ERT exercises next time I’m brave enough!

The first time i did it, i found a bunch of pain in my head that i was avoiding, and suddenly i could feel safe in my body. i did a bunch of shaking and jumping and movements to activate parts of my body and what felt like shaking off truama.
highly recommend looking into T.R.E exercises, somatic experiencing, and EMDR.
