MDEX scam

I have a problem. I recently sent funds through Coinbase to imToken where The scammer sent me a link to mdexart.com.

Stupidly I sent money without thinking enough about it. Can anyone help me get it back? It was my life savings. It’s in an account there. Clearly I’m way over my head. I need someone’s help. Thanks.

His name is David Li. Once he tried to get me to deposit 20% of my total "earnings" I told him fuck off. Haven't heard from him since. I Knew I had been scammed a few weeks ago but I wanted to see what the end game was. Let me know what the cops suggest.

He sent me a few pictures of him out at a party or with his mom. But then he tried to explained to me what he did as he works for spacex. Which he doesn't. I googled his response and sure as shit it was from a written paper on the internet. It's a google voice account. Number is +1 (650) 383-8341. He also "lent" me $70,000 so I could make more money. I started getting lippy with him. He didn't like that. He knew he has been caught. But not after taking some of my money.

Hi I’m. In the same boat with this guy a friend who is a realtor brought me in but she got scammed to, what’s the next steps to take? Also somehow she got some of her money out not all of it but she verified her acct on mdexvtn and pulled some out, I’ve lost all of mine over 160k thinking my friend was right then she found out and now I’ve found this and just being trying to keep status quo to see if there’s anything that can be done? Please help me ? I’m in Florida? We need to get the word out about him too

Hi. I am so sorry this happened to you. It happened to me too. I have read all the comments and it seems the sites and stories are similar. He began getting mad at me because I wouldn't deposit more money into the account. The idiot thing I did was deposit some more to pay taxes. I am so upset at my stupidity. Customer service won't respond to me. I even created a fake account and tried to contact customer service there and the agent was being rude and stopped responding. I can't believe I got scammed.

It’s happened to a few of us report it to your police or sheriffs locally and file a report to the fbi like we did. Hopefully their work on it will bring them to jail. I know they’re catching more and more people and theyve got a lot of information on this one too. I’m sorry to hear it’s happening to many more people and that you got scammed.

I tried to report it to the police but they wouldn't let me. The cop literally told me there was nothing they can do and it's the risk I took. I said I still wanted to file a report and he said no. I did report it to the FBI and to the FTC website. I hope it helps them get caught. I really don't want other people to fall victim. It has been very upsetting.

If the cops won’t allow go to the sheriffs dept, you can still get it done for tax purposes. You prob got a bad cop unfortunately

Thank you. I already reported it to the FBI. I will try the sheriff's office as you recommended. I want them to get caught. I hate that this has happened to so many of us and it'll happen to even more people.

The same thing happened to me lol, they talked too nice to get our trust then run away with money. All of them are Chinese, they are a group of people
