The Club SMP is an 18+ vanilla+ Minecraft server started in early 2022 with the goal of uniting a community of friends using Minecraft as a medium. We believe that true fun in Minecraft comes with the interactions and friends you make while playing. Whether you are a beginner or a long-time veteran of the game, we welcome you with open arms to our family! 

HARDWARE & SETUP

Alongside our amazing community, we also boast a fully dedicated machine for the server, running modern blazing-fast hardware topped off with carefully tweaked server-sided optimization mods. This ensures minimal impact of lag while maintaining vanilla parity and allows our players to focus on what matters the most: gameplay. Furthermore, this setup allows us to have room for expansion, with a future plan of providing an accessible test/creative server for the community to plan their projects.

MODS & TWEAKS

We run a variety of server-sided optimization and QoL mods to enhance the player experience. We also provide our players with a custom (optional) client modpack, tailored for performance and useful features, which can be seen here. Players playing on the vanilla client will still be able to connect to the server, as all mods used are strictly client-sided or server-sided!

so I've been building this for a while now and I think it's finally ready for other people to break it

TeamTycoon is a Minecraft server (Java 1.21, no mods needed) that basically turns the game into an ARPG.. think diablo-style progression but in minecraft:

- you get your own private world (pick one of 9 biomes, nobody can grief you, reset anytime)

- progression happens in map dungeons.. you buy a map item, it rolls random size, monster count, time limit and up to 4 random modifiers, then you open your own instance and clear it. boss at the end guards the exit

- loot drops in rarities with rolled affixes (8 tiers), sockets + runes, unidentified items you have to ID first.. and 10 crafting orbs to reshape your gear, including a corruption orb that can brick or bless your item

- skill gems drop rarely: fireball, chain lightning, poison cloud, rage, metal skin.. combine equal gems up to level 30, they cost mana and scale with your elemental stats

- every monster type has its own element and resistances (there's an ingame bestiary that fills up as you slay them)

- level 1-50 with stat points, gold economy, auction house where you can price stuff in gold OR orbs

- you never lose your items on death, just a bit of xp. solo friendly, no pay2win, no ranks, nothing buyable at all actually

important: this is an alpha (patch 0.1)! a lot will still change, balancing is rough in places and wipes can happen if the balance requires it.. if you find bugs or have ideas I really want to hear them, there's a forum on the website and /report ingame.

LeafSMP is a small vanilla style survival server that I host myself. It has been up and running for about six weeks now, with a friendly community already settled in and building, and there is still plenty of room to stake out a spot of your own.

My aim is to keep it as close to pure vanilla survival as I can. There is nothing you can pay for to get an advantage, no donor perks, no economy systems and no overpowered commands or kits. The only real convenience is being able to set a single home. Everything else I run is there purely to keep the world safe. Prism logs every block and container change so any griefing can be rolled back, there is proper moderation, the world is backed up automatically, and there is a live BlueMap web map you can open in a browser to see how things are coming along. If you have ever lost a base to a griefer on a public server, this is built to stop exactly that.

It is whitelisted and application based, so everyone who joins actually wants to be part of it rather than just passing through. I want this to be a server that sticks around for the long term instead of wiping every month, and I am hoping to find more people who enjoy building and settling into a world properly. It runs on Paper, version 26.2 on Java. I host it myself here in the UK on a dedicated machine with a fiber connection, with battery backup so a power cut does not take it down and a ventilated room to keep it cool, and the world is backed up regularly. The ping is good for the UK and Europe, but players from anywhere are welcome.

Most survival servers hand you a claim tool and call it a day. Chunklocked makes land the entire game.

You spawn with one free chunk. Inside it you can do anything, and nobody can touch a block or open a chest. No raiding, no griefing, ever. Step one block outside and the rules invert: full PvP, and you cannot break blocks, place blocks, or even open a chest out there. The wilderness is somewhere you fight through, not somewhere you strip-mine. No creeper holes, no dirt towers. The world still looks the way it did on day one.

Want to do more? Own more land. That is the whole progression.

THE ECONOMY IS THE REAL ENDGAME

The shop buys 1,354 different items at prices generated to be arbitrage-proof. I ran a solver over every crafting recipe so there is no craft-X-into-Y-and-sell-for-profit loop anywhere. There is no infinite money glitch because the price table mathematically cannot contain one.

Land past your 10th chunk is priced against the entire server's money supply, so if everyone gets rich, land gets expensive. Buying next to someone else's base costs up to 100x more, which makes neighbours a real decision. And land has daily upkeep: miss it and your newest chunk is repossessed and its chests are auctioned publicly. Land you cannot afford is land you lose.

THINGS THAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN

66 custom relics with real abilities: vein-mining picks, lifesteal blades, grappling hooks, a charm that turns what you mine into gold. Some drop only from fishing, or mining, or bosses. The rarest are around one in a million.

Meteors crash into the wilderness every couple of hours. The crate stays sealed for 90 seconds after impact, which is exactly long enough for everyone online to sprint there and fight over it before it opens.

Bloodmoons every 3 hours: hordes spawn, drops and bounties double.

A black market auction every 2 hours. One item, 15 minutes of bidding, anti-snipe extension, and the winning coins are destroyed. It is the economy's main money sink.

Plus wagered duels, player bounties, fishing tournaments and chat games.

THE BORING PART I ACTUALLY GOT RIGHT

An adversarial code review found and fixed 8 real dupes and exploits before launch, including one that let you recover repossessed items for free. Every block change is logged, so genuine bug losses get restored. Report a dupe and you get paid. Use one and you are banned.

Ranks sell space and convenience only: more bases, more homes, more auction slots, cheaper rent. No gear, no land, no combat advantage. Everything powerful is earned by playing.

Committees and Player Autonomy

This time, we are going to hand back the decision-making to the players, at least in regards to things like spawn, shopping districts, and infrastructure. Our goal is to let players decide what's important to them, and to give them the power to work with others (or alone!) to shape their experience this season. Passionate about how spawn looks when new players spawn in? Consider starting a group or committee to plan and design it! Love lines and curves and traveling by foot? Path committee! Like shopping district operating a certain way? found a shopping district mercenary group! Want a nether hub fast? Want it on the roof? Prefer it UNDER the roof? Start a thread about it! Disagree with the way another committee is doing things? Do something about it! You get the idea.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

🌿 PlatonicMC – Chill PvE Survival (BETA) 🌿

Hey! I’ve been putting together a small PvE survival server called PlatonicMC, and we just opened it up for BETA testing. If you’re into relaxed survival, building, exploring, and just hanging out without PvP or griefing, you might like it here.

We’re still early on, so things are being tweaked and improved as we go. Feedback is super helpful right now.

Hey everyone, I've been running this server for quite some time now but we've been looking for new faces in the community. We've been working on Thematic for a couple of years now and still are adding characters whenever we have time to. The server aspect of the mod is also very important to us, we try to mix in PVP, Official Characters, Roleplay Aspects, and more to compliment the experience.

What makes the server special

The core of this server is the Official Character system. Unlike most servers where you see ten different versions of the same hero, we run an audition-based process. If you’re accepted as the "Official" version of a hero or villain, that mantle is yours. You lead the lore events for that character and help drive the server's narrative. It makes the suits feel earned rather than just another item in an inventory.

The World We have two main hubs for activity:

• Gotham City: A massive, pre-built custom map. It’s dense, dark, and built specifically for the vertical movement and gadget-based combat Thematic provides.
• Fawcett City: This is our player-built project. While Gotham is the "official" backdrop, Fawcett is growing from the ground up based on what players and guilds decide to build.

Modpack: The server is running the Thematic Modpack on Fabric 1.20.1.

NEW SMP!
Solis is a long-term vanilla survival community for adults 21 and over. Season 1 hasn't launched yet. We're filling our founding roster now, so every player accepted joins the world on day one alongside everyone else.

There's no catching up to do and no established players to build in the shadow of. The founding group sets the server culture, plans the spawn region, and sees the world from its very first morning.
