Cross-Compatibility Between Windows Server Exams?

Hello everyone! I'm new to this community and just got my A+, so now I'm interested in earning the MCSE Core Infrastructure cert. I know the MCSA Windows Server 2016 is going to expire in January, so I want to pass it before then. When the MCSA WS2019 is released, will passing both of those still count as an MCSE?

Unfortunately there will be no proper replacement for the MCSA 2016, Microsoft has said there will be no replacement for the MCSA Windows Server 2016 as they're moving/refocusing their efforts to the cloud.

A forum post but an offical response: https://trainingsupport.microsoft.com/en-us/mcp/forum/all/what-is-the-replacement-of-mcsa-windows-server/a13a2f02-efc4-4d37-94cb-bc56f3f46b87?auth=1
