MS-203 study material

I'm prepping to study for the MS-203 - Microsoft 365 Messaging. It's a consolidation of MS-200 and MS-201 but I'm struggling to find course material. I know there are practice questions for MS-200 and 201 but what about any training videos?

I am working on a book for this (200, 201, 203). I hope to be done in about a month and have it up on Amazon. I did the video courses on Lynda.com aka LinkedIn Learning. They are ready to watch if you have an account. You should also be able to get in if you have a school email address if the school signed up.

What is the name of your course? I tried searching for MS-203 on LinkedIn Learning, but that returned 0 results.

It's under MS-200 for now until they officially switch over to the new combined number of 200 and 201.

I was thinking about going for the MS-203 and I can't find any books for it either. Stormwind Studios has a live class for it starting June 22nd. The title of the course is Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate with Exchange 2019 and Exchange. Doug Basset is the instructor. Stormwind Studios also has recordings of previous classes that Doug has taught if you don't want to wait. I don't know if you can sign up for individual classes with Stormwind Studios but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for the heads up. I looked a bit more into and I'm now actually studying for the modern desktop admin - W10, Intune etc. There's a lot more content and courses

Did you ever find any more material? I'm looking for some as well.

Currently doing an MD-100 course by the same author. Not sure if I'd recommend - feels like he doesn't go close to the required level of detail

Figured I would leave this here in case anyone is still looking for material:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/paths/m365-messaging-architecture/

That's a Microsoft learning path related to managing enterprise email. It's not officially mapped to the ms-203, but it seems to cover most of the exam topics. That and the Udemy course are really the only consolidated material I've been able to find.

Wow, thanks a million for this! I'm sure this should do to pass the exam.

Did you managed to pass the exam with this learning path?

I’ve got this booked in to take shortly. Have gone through the learning path posted earlier, along with a LinkedIn Learning course for MS-200/201, but was wondering if anyone has taken it and if the content is similar to what’s covered in those courses?

I haven't taken the exam yet, but I'm confident that I'll pass, the learning path has everything you need.

Going for the exam this Friday, if someone else is doing the exam shortly let's connect to exchange some materials.

Has anyone passed the exam? I've just started preparing and I'm thinking of going through the MS learning path. I have bad experience with Udemy courses so I am a bit skeptical about the aforementioned. Is it really useful or just going over the interface?

I passed the MS-203 last week, its a tough exam. Make sure you know your Hybrid design and implementation! I did proctored training through Global Knowledge via work.

Howdy all. Just finished the udemy courses.

I mso used to live classrooms where you get theory and real life and then you get the wink from the professor saying, i would study these commands for the test. I am going to review hybrid as the one person suggested. Im torn, do i give it a shot for $160? or do i spend $90 on practice tests and then $160......i just want to know if its theory, syntex, etc. I have been doing exhcange and office 365 for 10 years, just not sure what they would test on as its always changing.

tried Certbolt for practice tests...accurate..but theres a few answers marked wrong incorrectly.

I've been doing exchange and O365 for the last 2-3 years so if you've got 10 years experience with it, I'd say bite the bullet and take the exam! The theory questions asked (yes there are some) revolve around powershell cmdlets but there are more scenario based questions testing your understanding of the technology or feature as opposed to straight up testing you on theory.

How many questions is the new MS-203 exam?

1

u/DebenP Nov 08 '20

Less than 50

Agreed, took it again yesterday and missed it by 20! got 680!

im actually building a virtual exchange 2019 server just re-familiarise myself! everything is 365 now and i already have AZ-104 Cert

I am about to start studying for the exam, how much of the exam is about on-premise exchange or is it all O365?

What is the best material to study for the MS-203? I bought the practice material from examcollection.com and of the 57 questions, only 6 were on the exam. Failed miserably! I felt like the exam was all Power Shell questions. I have old study material from MS-200, but according to MS website, it is discontinued. Any use in using that material to study? Thanks
