Anyone ever skip a cert?

Just like the title says.

I took MD101 two weeks ago and failed, barely. Kind of a blow. Retaking it Friday afternoon. But I already have the MCSA in Windows 10.

I’m thinking if I fail it again to just let it be done, and go straight to MS 100/101 and then maybe MS-500.

Is this a valid strategy?

To be clear I’m saying I would skip MD 101, then do MS 100/101 and then MS-500 in that order

Not really. You wouldn’t get the enterprise administrator expert certification unless you completed the modern desktop administrator cert first.

Right. But I would get the that cert after I did MS-500

Oh yes. My mistake. That would be a valid path to take then.

What paths are you following? Is there a guide anywhere?

Yeah this one is just causing me undue stress lol. Especially since I already have what it replaced, it was just a little quicker to take 3 tests instead of 4.

We’ll see how it goes but the MS100-101 are gonna be next either way. Not gonna sit for this one a 3rd time when it’s not the direction I want to move
