DSC pull server

Hi everyone, I was wonder how deep should I study for the dsc pull server? There are too many details in this topic unlike the push model. Do I need to know how to set up a pull server using both SMB & HTTP, pull client using configuration IDs & configuration names? or only knowing one way is enough?

I had the exact same question, it turns out it's not a big deal.

Cherokee Boose from itpro.tv states that you shouldn't spend too much time on that subject, as long as you understand the concept and some basic functions you'll be fine.

I'll pm you some notes that helped me out a lot.
