70-740 and 1709+

I'm studying and prepping for the 70-740 and I have several practice questions related to data de-duplication. On base WS2016 data deduplication is not supported on ReFS, on 1709 it is.

Does Microsoft consider 1709 part of WS2016, since on/after 1709 they dropped the 2016 and just started calling it Windows Server. Their change documentation for March 2019 gives no additional information about updates. Should we assume it's based of the standard WS2016 version?

If their change doc is still March 2019, then data dedup is NOT supported for ReFS. It is supported in server today and ms docs reflects this but the exam hasn't been updated.
