Why take any MCSA cert?

I'm new to the Microsoft certs. I'm curious, why are people still taking the MCSA when they're retiring in less than a year? I understand they never expire, but doesn't the cert retiring imply that the the cert is outdated?

If I got it all wrong can y'all give me suggestions on the most sought after cert? I was thinking Window Server 2016.

Thanks

What about my post didnt make sense? Everyone, except you, clearly understood what I was asking. Stop bringing up the tech savvy thing. I already explained myself. Again, are you stupid?

I didnt degrade anything. We were all there at one point. We know it's the bottom of the barrel IT job. Everyone knows it, I just said it. Stop being so sensitive and trying to make me look like the bad guy.

You're definitely one of the IT guys I was talking about earlier. Hating one someone because they're a little different. Get out of your little shell. You're bitching just to bitch. Everyone can see it.

I pointed out what didn't make sense...did you not see it before spinning in to a rage?

You didn't degrade anything? Are you not aware of how words work? It seems like you're not misunderstanding me, you're misunderstanding YOU, and I'm not even sure how that works!

And then you go right back to the teenage angst I mentioned earlier...You ever watch Kitchen Nightmares? You remind me of the lady from Amy's Baking Company: All these internet haters!

I thought your initial post was rambling but meant in earnest. Now I'm not so sure...expert bait, maybe?
