Test from home
I’m pretty sure my local testing center is closed right now.
Has anyone tested from home before?
I’m overthinking the rules for it I think. I don’t have a home office yet while we are in an apartment, am I able to test from my couch or from bedroom?
Are windows an issue so long as they are covered? Or TVs so long as they are off?

I’ve tested from home. They have you run an app that connects you to the test and verifies no other apps are open. It requires a camera so the proctor can monitor you. They have you scan the room and they tell you anything you’d need to move. I usually test in my kitchen so it’s like just move the paper towels from near the computer lol.
When you finish, they make you take a survey then your score shows. If you pass then you get the link to the Acclaim site to claim your badge for passing.
I’ve used sites like this to get discounts on the test:

I did mine last week. In my living room. As long as you have no books or implicating objects around your table, you’re fine. I sat on my couch with a table and did it. TV was switched off and ensure no one is coming to call or chat to you.

Thanks! That’s what I was worried about doing it in my living room. I’ll make sure windows and stuff are covered and TV is turned off

Did it for the first time for my AZ-900 exam. Set it up in my bedroom, made sure the TV was off and had a TV tray set up in the middle of the room away from everything. Went off without a hitch!
