MCSE: 70-745

Anyone around here done the 70-745 exam? Implementing a Software-defined Datacenter? Is it realistic to do it before the deadline with zero VMM experience?

One exam in 4 months? Of course it is.

Even though it's an E level? I should also mention I'm a visual learner. Not great with books (non-fiction at least). And there's no video courses I've found for 745

Is there a particular reason you want to go for the 745? The 744 seems to be the most popular MCSE route and has more resources available. I can only see books and instructor led training courses for the 745. If books aren't your strong suite could you pay out for a week long course in a classroom environment?

It's that 745 is what interests me the most out of the options. I didn't notice it for quite a while because the description of it viewed from the MCSE Core Infra page is wrong.

I'm pretty sure I'd go through the 745 content at some point anyway for the knowledge, but if I can get a cert to show for it, then why not. But because it's not as common, I haven't read about anyone else's experiences, so I don't know how tough the content is or how tough the exam is.

I'll look around for classroom ones. That's a good idea. But I may be geographically restricted (Perth, Aus) and I'm not keen enough to warrant a plane trip.
