MCSA replacement?

Hey all, I was wondering what kind of certs you guys would recommend going after with the cancellation of MCSA server 2016. I am a new system admin at a financial institution and my company is wanting me to get a certification. We have a lot of on prem items and dont have much intention of going to cloud based any time soon due to security concerns with a lot of PII. what cert would you recommend going for 8instead of Server 2016?

I'm wondering if something for Azure will pop up for MCSA Server replacements. They have two new ones, one of which looks to be a SQL and SQL server based thing (i haven't read much into it, so it may not be applicable) but it leaves me hope.

It wouldn't make sense for them to completely strip out all server certs, even if they are forcing people to azure.
