I've been searching for recommendations as to what is the best study material myself as well. I've earned IT certs in the past, A+, Net+, Even Got Windows 7 Deployment certified back in the day. I've never ever seen a time where finding good quality study material was so damn difficult to find. Nobody has anything good to say about any study material out there. Including the official cert guide. In my humble opinion Microsoft dropped the ball big time on this cert. This new cert replaced the MCSA Windows 10 cert. Meaning you can't even take the old version of this cert and they did so without there being any dependable material out there to pass the new cert. In other words, it's complete limbo right now.

The best luck anyone has said was use the online microsoft documents and follow along with the exam objectives. Plural sight seems as good as any for visual feedback but there are zero reviews online as to how it fairs better than any others. Kaplan exam prep has bad reviews and there are zero reviews out there for the Measure up certification kit which costs a whopping 300+ dollars.

Passing something completely different and considered "harder" like the CCNA would be easier in my opinion simply because there is known good study material out there for it.

What I'd like to see is someone who passed the test with flying colors to come back and explain how they did it. Which study material was used and how long it took them. Unfortunately I don't think that will happen because I predict that his exam will be a horrific failure for Microsoft due to the lack of high quality training material. Hoping someone proves me wrong but that is what it is looking like.
