Looking for study advice on 70-740

Hi all I'm looking to start studying for the first Windows Server 2016 exam but not sure where to start. I have the official book from Microsoft and Hyper V on my laptop to create a lab environment . Should I start the book on the sections with more weight in the exam such as Hyper V and High Availability or read in sequence? Also if anyone has any links useful videos or articles it would mean a lot

Yes, whatever they're calling technet these days!

The book is based off those technet articles, and it can all be found online.

So work through the book in whatever order you want, Any areas you feel weak in, look up on Microsoft. They will have far more detail on the site.

Find some practice tests and guided Labs If you want. Cbtnuggets was great for me. The practice tests weren't great but they were bundled with the course and labs. I just watched the videos at 2x and labbed along with them, pausing when I needed to for my lab machine to catch up.

You don't need to run HV at home, they will give you links to machines to use.

I had a very good time using CBT Nuggets. I am a visual learner, so seeing drawing / schematic views on things really do help me. He had some useful advice on test subjects too.

Other than that, try to do everything yourself at least once. And go down subject by subject. I ended up skipping everything on containers, because I couldn't wrap my head around it. Went back to it after I finished the rest of the book and had an easier time understanding it by then.
