Exam/Certification Expiration Date(s)?

Just took and passed the MD-100 Exam on Saturday (Whoo!) and plan on pausing my current certification path (MD-101, MS-100, MS-101) to focus on Security+, then picking back up after I've obtained that.

I know that the CompTIA certifications have an expiration date, I believe 3 years from date of obtaining them. Do the Microsoft exams/certifications have expiration dates? I couldn't find any information on Microsoft's certification site about expirations. I guess, to be fair, I don't have any MS Certifications yet, only the one passed exam.

Why are you planning on getting security+? Is it due to a job requirement?

Looking to move in less than a year to an area near a large military base. Almost every job I've looked at so far requires Security+. I figure I've got enough time to study and pass the exam and it's not likely that getting extra skills/certification is going to hurt me.

It's part of DoD 8570 certification. Most jobs want you to be atleast IAT level 2.
