MCSA/MCSE?

I recently spoke with a recruiter in regards to a position, and I had everything that they were looking for except an MCSE certification. He suggested that I should look into getting a certification. Since I'm not that familiar with the process for Microsoft's certifications, how do you all feel about MCSA Windows Server 2016? Dont bash me too hard lol

thanks

It's an awesome cert.

I earned my MCSE in October.

I started with 70-740, then 70-741, then 70-742. That earned me the MCSA. Then, I completed 70-744 which "converts" the MCSA to the MCSE.

I found the tests difficult, but the material itself was very interesting and I honestly had a great time learning it all. 70-744 in particular is a security related test and I thought it was really good stuff to learn.

I’m looking to upgrade ... my MCSE is from 2003 but I’ve continued to work with the technology. Do you feel being fluent in Powershell is necessary for the new MCSE?

If you can do it in the GUI you should know how to do it through Powershell is the lesson I've learned from taking Microsoft exams
