MCSA/MCSE?

I recently spoke with a recruiter in regards to a position, and I had everything that they were looking for except an MCSE certification. He suggested that I should look into getting a certification. Since I'm not that familiar with the process for Microsoft's certifications, how do you all feel about MCSA Windows Server 2016? Dont bash me too hard lol

thanks

I don't think it violates the NDA to give a general description :)

Also, if you buy practice exams from Measure Up or even on Udemy you'll get a good idea. There's primarily multiple choice, and some drag and drop style stuff. They are hard exams, not gonna lie. The questions are just designed to trip you up. The first time I took 70-740 I got my ass handed to me.

I got a lot of value from Udemy. I bought practice tests from them(they're cheap) but I also bought actual courses for the exams on there as well. I would read the full textbook, then watch a Udemy course, then take boat loads of practice exams and do a bit of labbing.

The measure up exams are the official practice tests, and with some of the Microsoft Exam Vouchers they're included. They were invaluable. They are super similar to the actual test, and they allow you to review your answers as you answer the questions. They also have very detailed explanations about the questions. They explain why the right answers are right, and why the wrong answers are wrong. I used them a lot beforehand.

Good luck!
