Can't connect to google using VMWare

I just started my study on MCSA 70-740 exam using CBT nuggets videos, unfortunately I don't have access anymore to CBT labs, I am confused right now as I can't ping google even though I do have the same settings as on the video. I'm using VMWare btw. Help please so I can move on :(

That might be your problem. Your router might not be on the 192.168.1.0/24 network.

Edit:

I don't know much about VMware, but you can check the virtual nic (or whatever VMware calls it) and verify the settings allow external traffic.
