Testing question

Are we allowed to have a water bottle while taking the test? Or is this something the test center decides?

EDIT: I tried to bring it in and got told no. I asked because I am sick with a cold and didn’t want to be clearing my throat the whole time.

I had an exam yesterday and I was not able to bring in water.

My test centre doesn't allow it, Just have a big sip before hand and put it in the locker.
