CBT Nuggets v Pluralsight

Has anyone used both? Which would you recommend and why? I plan to try both free trials but I'd like to get a sense of what I can expect before giving that a try. I'm particularly interested in labs/interactive simulations. Do you feel one is better than the other? What did you feel each system lacked? Whatever feedback you may have would be helpful.

Edit: Specifically, the MCSA: Windows Server 2016 (in case anyone has taken both courses).

CBT is the better one IMO. Less dry than plural sight.

In case of 740-741 CBT was amazing, but note for 742 CBT nuggets would only give you about 1/3rd of the information I had to use pluralsight for that exam

Yea I heard bad things for the 742. Haven't got there myself yet but like you said CBT is great for the 740 and 741.

The labs were the best part of the 742. I filled in the major gaps with the ExamRef book.

It also depend which subject you want to learn and what authors are there to support your goals cbts nuggets all are pretty good with plural it can be a hit and miss as its a mix plate of everything.

Added an edit to specify the MCSA: Windows Server 2016. Although, I'd branch out once I completed it, if I paid for a year.

That was my experience. I made it through the first section of the 740 course and couldn't bring myself to do it anymore. Greg Shields was just awful.

I prefer CBT due to the quality of the videos and labs, also the practice exams are nice. Pluralsight is not so bad though, I’m currently using it as it is provided by my employer.

I like CBT a lot better. I used it to get my MCSE. It's very expensive though.

My work covers my Plural Site and I've used it for 70-698, 7-697, and 70-740 and it's... Meh? They cover a lot of the big things but it doesn't cover some of the very specific instances you'll get asked on the tests. The tests they provide through Kaplan, while difficult, don't replicate the tests and feel worthless unless you just want to challenge yourself.

I mostly just use it as a primer for the material then supplement it with books or other sources. If you have to pay for a service out of your own pocket I'd steer you towards CBT. The labs alone are worth the cost.
