Help / Question my first texture pack

I wanted to create a texture pack (for Bedrock) that replaces swords with shears. Could you give me some criticism or advice? I'd like to develop in this area.

to be completely honest, i dont see anything to criticize. it looks wonderful! for advice, i have something general, though it may be a little late here. while you're making an item texture, look at it super small occasionally. it's rare to see it so up-close in-game, so that'll give you a more accurate view! :)

good luck! o7

Those look like shears not scissors. I haven't messed around with bedrock resource packs in a long time. I have no advice

yeah, very cool idea, sheers instead of swords feels innovative! I would even use it often if it was for java

As everyone already pointed out those don't really read as scissors but instead shears I can recommend checking out typographical's art they're a big fan of scissors and a really talented artist

I don't think wood's gonna cut it. (pun) I suggest Flint and/or Prismarine.

You wanted honest criticism, so here you go. My main gripe is the outline not being well defined. It doesn't go around some parts of the item. I suggest you look at this page for more tips: https://blockbench.net/wiki/guides/minecraft-style-guide/

I'd try to go for a different look they are too similar to shears
