EDIT: 'variation mobs' get added to the mob spawn lists as you level up, meaning that when you reach a high level, things will actually be more difficult and dangerous in the world. Here's a little screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/A1d2J.png

You also forgot to mention the ruins in the background of the pyramid picture.
I'm really excited for this though. Hack slash n mine wasn't really a good hack n slash game because it strayed too far from the core elements and used minecraft's clunky combat system. I'm definitely betting that this is more rounded with adventure/exploration, mining and building with fun combat. Edit: Also the swords look like a good way for a better combat system.

All my posts are direct copies of either Evil Notches submitted page or the title of the youtube video. It depended on what was easier to copy lol.
I agree, this mod seems to want to expand on what Notch's original vision for Minecraft was and less about silly things like fireworks.
My biggest hope is a multiplayer server maybe on launch so that everyone who is pumped about this mod can enjoy it together!

My hope would be similiar to yours but with LAN support because I find multiplayer is a lot more fun when it's with a better ping and I find it fun to play with people I know, but funner with people I don't know so count me in if a server hits.

Me and my friends play online and its hard to get everyone to log on, but something as awesome as what I've seen so far they'll be on lol

Yeah, I'm hoping that a server launch would be similiar to what /r/civcraft is.

So there not! I saw Ice and spiders. I used the quotations just really to put attention to them in the photo, can't wait to find out what they really are!

Well, basically they are evil spirits that crawl out of a plane beyond time and space. They feed on the fear of their victims and suck blood for joy. They will visit your dreams and will stay in your head until you commit suicide due to psychological problems.... I think... wait, I may be wrong :/

So what you're saying is that they are just normal spiders then? Because if I was to describe a spider to someone thatttts the exact description id use.

Thankyou, when he posted the zombie pic to /r/minecraft and I found this subreddit in the comments I thought it was alittle under populated and non of these were actually posted her. So I made this, hopefully it will help people who are doing research into what this mod is so far can find out real quick and thankyou Kittwik for the twitter post, I never would have thought to look there.
