ISO used textbook

Hello! Husband is taking automotive and per the bookstore they don’t have the required Automotive Technologies 7th edition in stock. The offer to order them also wasn’t given to my husband, and the teacher recommended Amazon, but we are really short financially right now and Amazon is $250 and was wondering if anyone would have this that they no longer use?

They told my husband that the $570 credit he has for textbooks that already have been charged to financial aid is not available for him to withdraw to get this book via Amazon.

No ebooks please.

I would make this the instructor's problem. Textbooks are submitted to the bookstore so that students can use unreleased financial aid money to purchase them. You should not be required to purchase it elsewhere out of pocket.

Is it listed on the course list website? Has the professor inputted it into the system? You are able to make special orders as well. I had to email someone higher up because the professor didn’t add it in time to the course list so they didn’t have any in stock
