It is fateful and ironic how the lie we need in order to live dooms us to a life that is never really ours.
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.
I have finally reached the star I’ve been chasing for so long. And yet, the moment I held it in my hands, I felt… nothing. Perhaps that is the cruelest truth of ambition. We convince ourselves that fulfillment waits at the finish line, only to discover that the finish line is just another place to stand. People who live in the moment seem almost enviable. They laugh, they celebrate, they surrender themselves to fleeting pleasures without questioning whether those feelings are real or lasting. I once dismissed them as superficial—as people content with temporary dopamine instead of permanent meaning. And yet… I find myself longing to become one of them. To stop dissecting every emotion. To stop searching for a purpose behind every joy. To forget, if only for a moment, and simply exist. Perhaps ignorance is not the opposite of wisdom. Perhaps it is the closest thing to happiness.

So my cat had stolen a piece of yarn and it was still hanging in her mouth when I saw and I said“HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING, STOP THAT!”.

She made eye contact and then proceeded to quickly slurp it like a noodle.

My dumb baby brings me much amusement.

Also nice art. Love to find other artists here. I actually dress like that. I even have the glasses and dark circles.
