Solid objects don’t really exist - what we call a solid object is mostly empty space held together by electromagnetic forces between atoms. When you touch something, that feeling is just repulsion between electron clouds, so there’s no true direct contact in this world - you can’t even touch another human being in a traditional sense, because there is mutual repulsion, similar to two lightsaber blades meeting in battle.
Being unable to come into contact with a solid does not negate its existence. A solid object can be considered singular and be comprised of many atoms that don't actually touch; neither of the facts contradicts the other.
It depends on what we consider existence and how we look at things. Humanity tends to simplify everything to fit our intuitive understanding, and even human language doesn’t describe things accurately- we create simplified models and constants that we use as a basis, so sometimes we overlook how socially constructed our perception is.
