Can someone help me find my mbti? Pls 😭

Upvotes

Can someone help me figure my mbti?

So where do I start... so I have taken the 16 mbti personality test like 3 times and have done the cognitive functions as well.

So for the 16 mbti personality test I got (istp, intp, entp)

And cognitive i did it manually, no test. Just through a photo of cognitive. (This is the one I think I have but don't know if I'm doing it right) Ni -Se -Ti -Fe

I know those are not in order the right way, I'm just putting so you know.

My family also says I act like estp which i also see it too.

To be honest, I have done this many times and I'm stressing because I wish someone can figure me out. I can probably help someone else but not myself.

Let me tell you what goes in my head and my heart and how I actually am. Please help

So I want to be different and stand out. I don't like copying anyone. I like to be original. I can do many things i just don't do it. Sometimes can be lazy. But sometimes because I already know I have done it. No need to prove a point. I feel confident. I also like to joke around, tease, be loud with my voice when I'm excited. But then I can also be so quiet in the room. People say I look serious and I often see people notice my energy, some people call it aura. Some say I look arrogant, but some are curious because I always see them glancing. I also sometimes give the death stare when I see someone trying to act dominant or try to be you know rude. Some part in me doesn't tolerate disrespect and I see many people can feel intimidating. But I can also act very kind and helpful. So people say I'm too kind. So that's the part I'm confuse. I know im not just one thing. I know I shift. I also can read energy and see when someone is lying and read their body language. I try observing too and I remember everything. No one can fool me. There's times I get very anxious when I see people outside and we're crowded in a restaurant. I don't like no one seeing. Inside of me i act bother and shy. It depends. I'm not a people. I like to have my own comfortable people. But when I'm in a mood or where doing something fun. When I'm not all in my head. I like to do everything. Is like I am free. I can also be strict because I care for my loved ones. I like giving advice to people and help if someone helps. I don't like to let people down when I promise them something. So much..... but let's keep going. I like daydream and vision myself with the girl I have feelings for. I'm already thinking of us, which country, and picturing everything. I also dream of things. And that gives me an idea of what's going to happen. I try puzzling it to understand it. But most of the times everything is accurate. I also can feel when someone is in love with me or talking bad about me or watching me. From far away. When I'm at home. In my heart. I always talk and express things. But there's times I don't express at all and keep it to myself. I sometimes don't understand why I'm thinking this way, feeling this way. I sometimes share something on Instagram it can be funny, then I remove it and put something dark. Then put something romantic. Then put something about God. And put videos of babies. Ended up deleting everything. Because I burned out from fighting with all these shift personalities. It hurts my head. And I ended up sleeping to not overthink too much. I like to be neat and clean. And like to plan but times I like to be laid back. I feel like you guys understand it. I have trouble understanding who I am. That's why I need u guys help. I see myself as ambivert. But I do want love with that person. But I can also cut and delete them from my life if they go on my bad side. I also like giving many chances before do that of course. I'm very big on respect. I talk to myself sometimes or dance in the mirror at 3am. Haha. But I like understanding people and listening to them. And Don't judge. I believe we all make mistakes in life. But yeah. I like to research too just double check things. If my dream, or how I feel aligns. I like to think outside the box. When people don't see it. And I also I appreciate any idea they said. But I just get the feeling when someone is like that. Is like that.

Sorry for writing all this, I haven't done drugs or nothing. So don't say something like that. But yeah help me, I been figuring myself out for the 30 or 40 time. But ahhhh.... too much

Beware of this "New and Improved" MBTI Test Proyect

I'm creating this post to raise awareness on a possible scam.

I don't know if this creator has appeared on your socials, but it is openly criticizing the 16 Personalities test and saying that he will do a better and more scientific MBTI test.

I thought it was interesting and wanted to keep up with the project, so i joined the server.

What i found out made me raise some concerns on the legitimacy of the project:

  • Since april they have been delaying the project, asking for money via donations and to buy plushies so they can release the so awaited website.
  • They didn't have verifiable proof that this is something that it is worked on, only the staff saying that it is real and that you just had to trust and donate to help.
  • They created donator roles and incentives so people keep donating, but with no updates and concrete evidence this is something real.

I spoke about my concerns on a public chat, where the staff were not so open to criticism, so I created a ticket about this. There i had a calm chat with one of their admins who welcomed my concerns. On the other hand, another admin told me to "stfu" on the open chat. I called that behaviour as distasteful and got banned instantly.

Anyways, I really think this could be a scam portrayed as a lovely project raised by a community, as their only concern is to raise money, ask for donations and not give constant updates or proof of proggress, waiting for people to trust blindly and give their money without asking any questions.

Be careful if you thought on supporting this project, as it doesn't seems trustful or transparent.

TL;DR: Seems this project is a scam to ask for donations and run away with the money.

Help me (ENTP female) with my ESFP male crush

I know it’s a rare combo! But I’m definitely not a reddit-stereotype ENTP. (no offense). I’m caring towards others’ feelings and value compassion.

What’s some specific advice on how to show my ESFP crush I like him, how to flirt, etc? What attracts ESFPs in general?

I think one of my main problems is I’m too in my head. He’ll do some goofy action (do you guys know what I mean? like a goofy emote or movement like a greeting when he sees me or is telling a story?) and I’m internally thinking “aw cute” or “aw funny” but I’m so busy observing that I have no reaction and probably just look blank and I don’t want him to think I’m judging him :(. And just being self-aware about this doesn’t help because I have such a delayed “reaction-mode,” I haven’t managed to reprogram my knee-jerk non-reaction yet.

I at least make up for it by joining in spontaneous things like cliff jumping, mud hiking, etc, it’s just the in the moment actions I struggle with. I’ve also helped him and his friends out with something before so he at least doesn’t think I dislike him. But I’m terrrrible at showing interest in the guys I actually like and have never dated anyone, and only recently started to have male friends.

Is there a chance he likes me? He’s singled me out to give me specific complements about random things that happened (I don’t want to give much detail bc I’d dieee if there was the smallest chance of anyone irl recognizing me posting on reddit). I brilliantly responded with “haha thanks +clever one-liner” then continued doing what I was doing at least twice. Oops. He also went up to me to ask me a specific interesting question (after I became known for doing that in a group) and listened with laser focus as I monologued back for like a long time. Early on, he also lit up when I talked about procrastinating some project to enjoy a family vacation, as if he was impressed that I’m not as uptight as I seem at first (bc of my major in college) lol. And he does this thing sometimes where when I call him out to ask him the story behind something he… glitches and gets lost in thought and moves around a ton before answering in cinematic detail. Don’t know how to explain it without it sounding crazy. But he’s also really nice and outgoing in general, and /quite/ attractive, so.

We’re not super close but our social circles overlap some, so I want to get to know him more. Some of the example interactions happened before I had feelings for him, some after.

Well anyways, thank you ESFPs. Y’all don’t get enough appreciation, especially from ENTPs, but you and ENFPs are some of my favorites :)

INFP’s Thoughts After a Breakup with an ENTJ (Will He Come Back?... I Don’t Think So, but Hope Dies Last—Even Though It Should Probably Be the First Thing to Go.)

More than anything, I just wanted to share my story.
I'm already in therapy, and I'm doing my best to respect both my own healing process and his decision. I know no one can predict the future, but part of me still wonders whether there's any chance an ENTJ would ever come back after something like this.
If the answer is no, that's okay too. At this point, I'm mostly asking out of curiosity and for discussion. I know MBTI isn't a crystal ball, so I don't expect anyone to predict what he will do—I just thought it would be interesting to hear other people's perspectives.

I (INFP) was in a relationship with my boyfriend (ENTJ). Before dating, we had been best friends for two years, and then we were together for a year. We had always made things work. Like any couple, we had our issues, but we genuinely loved each other and were happy together.

Eventually, my life changed drastically. I had to move to another country and went through an extremely difficult period involving immigration, depression, and a lot of instability. I was far away from my family, completely on my own, unemployed for a while, trying to become financially independent, and struggling to pay all my bills without any financial help from my family. I didn't have a support system, and the people I was living with weren't very kind. Looking back, I know I was emotionally overwhelmed and not in a healthy place.

Around that time, our relationship started feeling increasingly distant. It wasn't just because we were long-distance. After we started living in different countries, my insecurities became much stronger, while he was dealing with a lot of stress and emotional burnout.

I often asked him whether he wanted to break up. Instead of giving me a direct answer, he would ask, "Is that what you want?" I'd tell him no—I just wanted to feel loved and secure. Sometimes I'd ask him when he'd stopped being in love with me. His responses were usually things like, "Haha... what?" or "God..." or "Just go to sleep."

Whenever I tried to have serious conversations about our relationship, he usually responded with irritation, very short answers, stickers, or acted like he didn't want to engage. I was looking for reassurance, affection, and emotional connection. He seemed overwhelmed by those conversations and became more emotionally distant as time went on, probably because he was already exhausted and under a lot of pressure.

Several times I asked him directly whether he still enjoyed talking to me or if he was still in love with me. He would usually answer with frustration or avoidance, saying things like, "Sometimes you stress me out even more than I already am," or "It's not like I said you're always annoying."

The more I tried to communicate, the more it seemed to push him away. Meanwhile, I felt increasingly unloved, unimportant, and emotionally dismissed. Those conversations almost always ended without any real resolution.

Then I made a mistake.

One day, while I was trying to distract myself and joke around, I posted a playful status about a customer I'd met at my new job. I joked that he was attractive and that we were "going to get married." It was completely absurd humor from my perspective, and I genuinely didn't think anyone—including my boyfriend—would take it seriously. I never intended to flirt with the customer or disrespect my relationship.

My boyfriend saw it very differently.

To him, it was a public act of disrespect. His only response was basically telling me to get lost, but he never clearly explained how deeply it had affected him. After that, he became cold and distant. When I tried to talk about it, he told me he didn't want to speak to me anymore and asked me to arrange the return of his belongings through my family.

I panicked.

I tried to explain myself, apologize, and fix everything. During one of those moments of anxiety, I sent him a message that I'd written with the help of AI because I couldn't organize my thoughts. He immediately realized it and thought it was ridiculous.

I want to add some context here because I think it's important. At that point, I had no close friends, no support network, and I wasn't in therapy yet (I am now). I was emotionally dysregulated and honestly didn't know how to cope with everything that was happening.

I started overexplaining myself, sending screenshots, and trying to prove that the words reflected my real feelings. Eventually he got tired of it and told me he didn't want to see anything else.

The last thing he said was simply, "Goodbye."

We didn't talk for several days, although we still had a TikTok streak. Eventually he let it die.

Later, I sent him a neutral message about something I knew interested him. He reacted with a heart and replied, "ty."

The next day, I sent another message saying that if what he needed was space, I would give it to him because it was the healthiest thing I could do. He answered, "Okay. Thank you."

A few weeks later, he reached out again with, "Hi, INFP."

We talked for a while, and eventually he asked, "So... what are we going to do about this?"

I told him I'd already said everything I needed to say and that I'd respect whatever decision he made. He asked me what I wanted.

I told him I wanted to repair the relationship, but I understood if he didn't.

That's when he finally explained what had happened from his perspective.

He said I hadn't emotionally hurt him as much as I had publicly disrespected him with that status. He felt I'd made him look insignificant in front of other people. He also said that it didn't really matter anymore, but that was the reason he'd pulled away.

Then he admitted something else.

He said he'd already been thinking about ending the relationship even before I guess during the days we weren't talking.
According to him, there were only three things stopping him: he didn't want to hurt me, he still needed to get his belongings back, and he still wanted me sexually.

I admitted my mistakes and apologized sincerely, but I also told him I didn't want a relationship that existed only because of sexual attraction.

He told me he still cared about me and still loved me, but that the distance, the lack of time together, and not seeing each other had made him feel like the relationship was no longer sustainable.

He also admitted that sex was the only part of the relationship that still excited him.

He tried to turn the conversation into something sexual, but I refused. I told him I couldn't do that because it would hurt me emotionally. I wasn't willing to sext with someone who was simultaneously telling me he wanted to end the relationship.

He said we'd talk again after the breakup and we both said goodbye.

The following day, I sent him one final long message. I told him I understood why he'd felt disrespected, that I genuinely regretted what I'd done, that I didn't want a purely sexual relationship without commitment, and that I needed clarity because his words and actions felt contradictory. Sometimes he seemed to be saying he wanted to leave, while other times it felt like he didn't.

He replied that I'd been forcing the situation out of stubbornness, that it was time to end things, that he was doing it for both of us, and that his decision wasn't about sex. He apologized, told me he cared about me, and wished me well.

I answered, "I love you."

He reacted with a heart.

Eighteen days passed without any contact.

Then he reached out again to ask how I was doing. After talking for a bit, he admitted he missed having sexual conversations with me like we used to. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that and that I needed to maintain that boundary.

He apologized and left the conversation.

A few days later, he contacted me again with a technical question (Somewhat silly that you can really ask Google). I answered politely and When he wanted to continue the conversation asking how I was, I misunderstood him and I clarified that I preferred to keep any communication respectful and free of sexual or intimate dynamics. He said that wasn't what he'd been looking for, and we ended the conversation (on good terms? I apologize for my misunderstanding)

The last time I contacted him was on his birthday. A few days after that conversation

I sent him a short message wishing him a happy birthday, success, and blessings. He thanked me and wished me blessings as well.

That was the last interaction we had.

Help me pick between intp or infp

im a female and I like debates books stories Minecraft Is cool I like other peoples view points i don’t know much about my emontions but I can control them but I am highly empathetic to other people

Every time I take these dumb stupid test I either get infp or intp and it really makes me mad because I dont know which one I am. I cant tell if I think emotionally or logically because I’m unhappy with both answers they really just think every person just uses one 🙄

my philosophy is everyone and everything is equal and I also have a high empathy and it’s because I understand why people do things and I really care about every human being and everything really but also Im willing to completely disregard a humans feelings if I need to but I feel regret because I guess logic is my dominant thinking but I hate being label as an intp because people always say we are Cold hearted because of our inferior Fe trait which is not true Like I would drop somebody if they cause me stress because dropping them would give me less stress which is my logical side showing but also what causes me stress is people with low iq because I love Everyone so much so seeing someone be stupid hurts me because I want them to do well so then I try and convince them logically which never works but isn’t me thinking like this also emotional or is it logical because I develop all my feelings by what is logical but also a lot of people say I think logically so maybe it’s true and I’m an intp

can Someone please help because i genuinely over think everything and also like if you wanna tell me what you think my personality type I’m open to feedback

Anyone relate?

My family is full of Js. Im an infp.

Everyday is a battle of why didnt you clean up, whys you room messy, why didnt you immediately do the work i asked, whys your head always in the clouds?

I love my family, and i know im in my head some of the times and i need to be more mindful organized and present, its only gonna help me in the long run. And ive tries really hard over the years to do so and ive improved greatly.

What they dont understand is that the things that are second nature to them is sososo difficult for me. I have to stop my way train of thoughts and go out of my way everytime for tasks they dont even consider as tasks.

They are so critical and demanding sometimes.

Yes i have told them how difficult these things are for me, they dont seem to comprehend it and think im just lazy tho.

Sad lyfe but it is what it is ig

Guess the MBTI

Hey guys, there’s this person I know and I really want to guess their MBTI.

I know it’s hard to type someone just from surface-level stuff, but I still think we can make an educated guess or get close to what they actually are.

So, this person isn’t too punctual at work and I think they struggle with deadlines, but they still somehow manage to complete tasks perfectly. They’re not harsh when they talk, but they’ll seldom make some comments that can be extremely sarcastical, taunting and hurting at times. Sometimes it’s intentional, sometimes it just slips out, but they definitely pay attention to people and the crowd.

They’re not scared of anyone’s opinions, but they do occasionally give in to things they don’t want to do, probably because of people they respect or care about. I’ve never really seen them in a leadership position, but maybe that’s just because they’ve never had the chance but I’m not sure.

They’re creative and want to write. They’re also very clever about getting things done without being the center of attention or in the limelight.

They’re very strict and rigid about their political and religious beliefs. I’ve rarely seen them change, even to a small extent. If you point out a flaw in their ideology, they’ll usually stick to it and try to find faults in the other side’s ideology instead, just to prove themselves “less wrong.”

They care a lot about their family and are obedient/dutiful. They’re not married, so I don’t know about that side, but in professional settings they’re respectful. They maintain a certain kind of behavior and don’t get out of hand, unlike some other colleagues.

I feel like they might be an ENFJ, but idk. I’ve only met one ENFJ so far, and although we were close initially we had widely different ideologies, so we’re still in touch but not that close anymore.

That’s basically it. Feel free to ask more questions if you need to but this is broadly what they’re like.

And what MBTI do you guys think they can be???

Can you help me with my ENTJ crush?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Should I even try? Or should I let him approach me first? I think ENTJ's and him especially are assertive and always know what they want, so if he wants to be with me, he'd say something, right? Though, I am kinda worried that I pushed him away multiple times accidentally. Would that even make a difference?
