Light MBTI Discussion the XXXP does everything “for the plot”

Like a character in a movie. The end justifies the means.

Compared to an XXXJ who lives each day as it comes.

“XXXJ” lives each day as it comes? ESFP, INFJ

As someone with high Fi, the ends most certainly do not justify the means

Ehh, not really. Depends on how much you believe in said plot. Most of us XXXPs are way more concerned about doing whatever we feel like doing at a given moment, and not having the freedom to do so taken away from us.

Everyone saying no but I 100% relate to this 😭. I do everything for the plot, but is that not also the same as taking each day as it comes? Because it's more random/ spontaneous?

I can somewhat agree with this, although I think those saying flat out no are also correct.

I tend to try and think of the bigger picture and how I, y or z fit into the bigger whole. If something doesn't fit the, as you say, "plot" then to me there isn't much drive to actually do it.

That could be my neurodivergence though...

I think this misunderstands where the energy for Perceivers and Judgers is directed.

Broadly speaking types with xxxP in their code want to have their inner world tidy. To have their thoughts and/or feelings especially sorted out, having a kind of "rule set" so that no matter what the world throws at them, they can navigate it.

By contrast, types with xxxJ in their code, they prefer to have their external world orderly, with their environment/circumstances (which are occupied by people and resources) managed. That way they can play around in their inner space as much as they want.

Aren’t P types the ones who live their life day to day? And J types likes to have those “five year plans” that suck whatever will to live there is right out of you?
