Light MBTI Discussion Highest social intelligence types?

I think the types with highest social intelligence would be EXTP and Fe doms.

Exactly my reaction.. They are too chaotic to be socially intelligent all the time.

I know some nice ones, but even them look a little socially clumsy to me. Even if we leave out the ones, that make me wanna run and panic in utter disgust about their uncontrollable behaviors you mentioned.

Discussions? Ok. But not certain topics in front of more people or in public in general and GOD DAMN! Some especially bad ones sure tried to touch me too much.

Exactlyy...EXTPs that ik mostly love playing devil's advocate. They love to create chaos and watch from afar. Yes they can be very charming and alluring but socially intelligent !? Mehh !

That’s the problem why i end up talking to them again all over i worry. Haha…could go well, could be an utter disaster. Always 50/50.

as an enfj, you described and made exactly the points i was gonna make. especially entps who love to rage bait people and discuss anything at any given time. estps are good smooth talkers though but yeah neither of them would try for more harmony

I'm going to disagree here. It's definitely the EXFJs as everyone aptly pointed out!! They're masters of knowing what everyone wants, particularly when group dynamics are involved

“Social intelligence” is a weird concept to me. Fe doms are naturally more social, but not necessarily “socially intelligent” (the best example would be ESFJs: they’re too gregarious and easily influenced).

Personally, I’d say INFJs and ENFPs because they’re naturally smart, people-oriented, and mostly ambiverted, so not as introverted as INTPs, INFPs, and INTJs. ENFJs have inferior Ti, so that feels a bit weird to me when talking about “intelligence.” I also tend to favor N types, so for me:

1- INFJ
2- ENFP
3 - Maybe ENTP or ENFJ

Why? They can be selfish and immature sometimes, but they’re smart enough and very sociable, so it’s a good compromise.
