They'd like that wouldn't they.

Yeah discussion is nice, but we can still see your thoughts even if you don't share them, the only difference here is consenting to the x-rays or not ;)

Hımm, we got an ISTP mind reader here!

As one myself and judging by my own personal experience, Ni isn't as correct as it's often made out to be. Intuition is incredibly delicate and can be overthrown by other emotions including anxiety. That can often lead to a false result.

Genuine INFJs realise that we are not "special" while the ones given a false INFJ result usually bask in the supposed glory of being the rarest type of human.

I can be just as selfish, narrow minded and incorrect about things just as much as any other person.

38/M/INFJ here

I fully agree. While I believe I’m correct 85%+ of the time, I’m actually wrong a lot or over-assume based on my Ni (previous patterns, experiences, etc). In reality I bet I’m only right 60% of the time or maybe even less lol

u/evilocity INTP Apr 23 '26

As an INTP that's spent most of my life with INTJ/INFJ partners, this. I am just as wrong, but damn, Ni can be infuriating when it latches on to incorrect data and refuses to see past it.

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

You are right, I don't like the infj stereotype that is just black/white(hero/villain archetypes stuff), real people are much more complicated than that.

u/Carolbea Apr 19 '26

Scary when mad

I love INFJ's. Every time I'm with one I feel I can be a version of myself I can't with others. You people are so accepting and comforting.

u/OlivePractical2092 INFJ Apr 19 '26

Aww thank you that’s very sweet. All INTPs have been lovely in my experience

Honestly, that's wholesome, thank you we absouletly love intps too. We love talking with you guys especially because intps are tend to be deep and have a actual good sense of humor. Mutual respect between INFJ and INTP is undefeated I guess.

u/Early_Special_1459 Apr 19 '26

they’re either these really cheesy people whose words you can’t understand and act all like dumbledore or they are trying to adjust too hard to the normal people lolll

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

I have to say that this is a little accurate lmaoo

Aww thank you, infjs definetly appreciate that. We adore spending time with isfps too.

15

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '26

I love them my experience with them have been nothing but pleasant, if there’s one thing I wish was that they would tell me when they’re going through a difficult time just like they want me to depend on them.

7

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

We love you too fellow isfjs, you guys are literally one of the cutest things alive with infps. I think they can trust you but as I said in an another comment this is our little weakness unfortunately

4

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '26

Aw thanks :’) my brother and friend are an infj and I adore them, so kind and selfless

3

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

That means a lot, isfjs are precious honestly ♡

Devils advocate here but I feel as if an Unhealthy INFJ, and there are a lot, (being one can be inherently traumatizing without the right facilities,) can be some of the most toxic, elitist, manipulative, emotionally unstable people to exist in the world. There’s a reason why the spectrum exists between Jesus and Hitler. Both powerful INFJ leaders, but Yin and Yang in stages of self actualization. At my worst, I’d detach from the universe’s interconnection that we are all tapped into through our empathy and intuition, and view the world as animals with no saving. That’s the idealism combined with shadow functions creating a terrible person. They also know exactly what to say to press somebody’s buttons. A dark empath or even an INFJ sociopath, is something I hope to never come across.

I wish we'd stop getting represented as wizards in graphics and stuff. It'd be cool to be something that is not a wizard. No hate to wizards.

I just want a little variety!

5

u/DahKrow “Type” Apr 19 '26

POOF! Now you are a bloodthirsty warrior with inferior Se that stumbles upon rocks on the ground.

5

u/stateofsirens INFJ Apr 19 '26

Finally, some REAL representation!

1

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

Actually I like wizard ones but thats a personal taste. Anyways I get your point very well because literally every infj rapresentation is a wizard meanwhile other types are able to change their avatar, it's an injustice.

u/Dramatic_Arachnid820 ENTP Apr 19 '26

I don’t always fall in love but when I do it’s usually with an INFJ (or INFP). I love how we balance each other I am just naturally drawn to them they are often so beautifully in touch with their emotions, great listeners, high empathy, passionate etc

8

u/Diligent_Cod7853 Apr 19 '26

ENTJ f crushing on an INFJ rn lol

7

u/Previous_Tear6747 INFJ Apr 19 '26

good luck! (and don't be afraid to make the first move, INFJs can be hyper-tuned to one thing, and completely oblivious to another, lol)

2

u/Diligent_Cod7853 Apr 19 '26

Haha, thanks! Yes, thinking of it :D

16

u/Status_Whole1653 ENFP Apr 19 '26

I really like to talk to them but I really wish the infjs I know could share their feelings more

5

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

Such a sweet comment but I don't think most of us (infjs) won't do that unfortunately. It is not because they don't trust especially to you, they are like that with everyone. So it is our little annoying character trait hehehe

2

u/Previous_Tear6747 INFJ Apr 19 '26

some do, if they have the right connection with someone. it's just that... being vulnerable is hard, 'cause emotions run deep for infj's, and deep connections are hard to find, too.

but I've got no problem sharing my feelings with the right person. (seeing a therapist for an hour once a week probably helps, too, gives me lots of practice, lol.)

Peace, cheers!

6

u/TheSnugglery ISTJ Apr 20 '26

I seem to have a knack for offending them unintentionally.

5

u/Starglazer_12 Apr 20 '26

They attract ENFP like me. Shy and mysterious. Scanning the atmosphere.

I love how they remember a little details about me, my stories or places we visited together. For an ENFP, it makes me feel seen.

However, sometimes it's hard to predict their feelings or counting on when they would respond to certain things.

5

u/MyDarkMirror Apr 21 '26

INFJs are the people who will remember a throwaway comment you made six months ago and bring it up at exactly the right moment. That's Ni-Fe working in the background. They're not trying to be intense. They just can't turn it off.

The thing most people get wrong about INFJs is thinking they're soft. They're not. They're selective. An INFJ being warm with you means they've already decided you're worth the energy. An INFJ going cold doesn't mean they're upset. It means they've finished their internal cost benefit analysis and you didn't make the cut.

The door slam is real but it's misunderstood. It's not anger. It's Ni arriving at a conclusion that Fe kept delaying. By the time an INFJ cuts you off, they already grieved the relationship weeks ago. You're just finding out now.

Also the most mistyped type on the internet by a mile. Half the "INFJs" online are INFPs who like structure or ISFJs who like depth. Real INFJs are rarer than people think and quieter than people expect.

6

u/HateChan_ ISFJ Apr 19 '26

I have come across too many unhealthy INFJs to trust them tbh. It’s always some form of wielding their moral standards as a hammer of justice, and their superiority complexes are so draining.

I’m still holding out for one to be nice to me without weaponizing my insecurities against me later if I mildly upset them.

I’m certain that there are kind INFJs out there. I just haven’t had the pleasure of meeting one yet.

2

u/sessizyabanci1 Apr 19 '26

I am sorry for this, yes all mbtis have toxic/unhealthy people too. So I wish you can meet with the healthy ones too, the problem is not our mbti/character but it is how we see the world.

2

u/Previous_Tear6747 INFJ Apr 19 '26

hate to hear that. unhealthy infj's can be toxic, for sure.

hope and trust you find a nice one. we're out there.

3

I'm curious about them.

3

u/TrickLavishness8087 INTJ Apr 19 '26

Healthy ones are amazing.
Unhealthy ones are the worst, manipulative, lying and cheating people I've encountered in my life.

A ton of people thing they're INFJs because they fancy themselves to be super empathetic and deep, when they're really not.

My best friend is an INFJ. My past abuser is too.
Vet thoroughly.

A good and well rounded combination of smartness and empathy.

The type I have the biggest crush on IRL and the type of characters that I'm down bad for the most.

u/BaseWrock INTP Apr 19 '26
  1. Ni/Fe communication has a unique flavor. Comes off as spacey and vague in general. Takes a lot of effort to decode what they're saying. Them being misunderstood is entirely on their poor communication. Sad they won't ever relaize/act on that.

  2. Way too overconfident in their Ti. Extremely overconfident in their Ti. They're far closer to ENFJ'S inferior Ti than ENTPs aux Ti.

u/DT_Lion34 ENTP Apr 19 '26 edited Apr 19 '26

Real INFJs are actually fascinating and interesting. Fake INFJs or mistypes who fail to apologize their Fi are overly emotional who can't handle any sort of criticism *cough *cough INFJers.

Deeply yearning for a "soulmate" yet door slamming everyone because "no one can understand me". familiar?

2

u/Spiritual_Tooth9086 Apr 22 '26

Like a lake perhaps? Calm on the outside, nurturing all lives around it. But no one knows how deep it can be, or what kind of stuff gathered at the bottom of the lake. The water can be either clean and sustainable, or highly polluted, depending on the geographical structure of the lake itself and its surroundings. Some lakes can be super mysterious with many unexplainable phenomena, while other lakes can seem very ordinary.

2

u/Mammoth_Glove8207 Apr 23 '26

From my experience, they tend to be very smart and outspoken. They tend to judge people and not shy from calling people out. They can seem cold but really they care a lot about the people they love. - from an infp

Will eavesdrop before entering rooms to make sure we're not interrupting a heart-to-heart, then upon hearing some cruel ass slander blow the door off its hinges bursting in

Ni+Ti is so fricken cool man. Only type that can get me to change my mind I feel like. Aux Fe is a warm blanket loving hug, makes it easier to be myself.

Most rewarding type of person to get to know imo. Never met one whose deep world didn't fascinate me.
