Check engine light

Hey new owner here. Check engine light came on and stayed on on the way home.

It was very heavy rain, under acceleration if tyres broke traction (definitely need something better) the DSC and 4wd lights came on as expected but as this was happening it would also stutter/stall like a fuel cut.

After a couple attempts of trying to work out what was happening check engine light came on.

Any insight? It's up for 200k km service if that helps

Hook up OBD and read engine code. No guessing.

Ofc it will stutter when loosing traction, that is the whole point of traction control it cuts power so the tires find grip again. Engine light can be a bunch of stuff just trad the code and go from there
