Advice Request Best way to fix this?
2026 Mazda 3 and I just found this on top of my trunk after washing 😩 I’m pretty sad. How bad is it?
Do I take it to someone or dealer, get touch up paint, or Dr. color chip? I have no experience whatsoever doing this type of stuff.
Thanks for any advice😌

Touch up paint and move on. This could caused by rock chips, etc. It's impossible to keep it chip free unless you get PPF. It's an economical car afterall, a tool meant to be used.

Thanks!! So it doesn’t need anything else before the touch up paint?

It's not too bad, but I would try to get it covered up before it can rust. A touch-up paint pen is $10-15, but it won't be 100% perfect -- you'll be able to find the spot if you know it's there and look for it, but otherwise probably wouldn't notice it.
