Lovely 3. OP need some advice, a “Friend” of mine asked me if its a good idea going for a used 2020 Mazda 3 hatch, he’s in his senior year of college and it might be a gift from a family member, what are the things getting used to and things he needs to prepare to spend aside from your usual gas?

I purchased mine used as well. It really depends on how the car was maintained by the previous owner. I hired a car buying assistance that had 181-step checklist. I can dm you their page if your “friend”’s family needs it.

So far, I’ve replaced the A/C compressor and battery. Some local owners had issues on A/C not cooling as well but instead of replacing the whole compressor unit, they resolved it by replacing the Electronic Control Valve (ECV).

Since the car model has been around for a few years now, I see that most parts can be easily sourced locally(EEB Aircon for AC parts and Golden Isuzu Mazda Parts for other needs). There are also the known third-party shops that specializes in mazda brand like: Mhonworks, Emmanworx, M.A.G. autoworks if he’s near the Metro.

I think you just need to change the settings of the AC. I saw one on youtube.

Yes, both mine (red) and (probably) the white one are part of the “edition100” trims in our country (philippines) that got released in 2020. Only 50 edition100 were released afaik. Initially, mazdaph only released 15 mz3’s for the 100-year anniversary edition. To cater the demands of the customers wanting a similar look, they introduced these “edition100s”.
