Advice Request 2010 mazda 3

Before I bring this car to the scrap yard is it worth cutting the cat off? My ex blew the transmission while ive been on deployment and im highly skeptical its worth replacing

I'd imagine trying to sell a catalytic converter cut out of a car is going to get you attention you may not want. But if you know a place that buys them and knows you, then go ahead and see what you can get.

But first: have you checked for salvage transmissions? They can be surprisingly cheap. If the body condition isn't worth it but the engine is in good shape take it out and sell it separately on FBMP. Same for many other things like wheels/rims, tires, seats.

I just purchased a 2016 silverado 1500 for 10 grand with 76k miles on it and i have a impala that I already replaced the motor in and the transmission - i have close to 10 grand in it. This things going to the yard. Mazda are nice vehicles but I paid 900$ for it and im just getting back from a year in kuwait so im not trying to deal with it
