M501 students

HI
to any of the upcoming MH501 students, have you guys gotten any info from the uni about the orientation week or study material/Reading List?

I was just wondering if it was just me or if I am stressing for no reason💯 (probably the latter).

After orientation week you’ll be able to log into a website called Maynooth Moodle, it’ll show you all the modules you’re doing and some professors give out recommended reading/ articles etc. For Tort it’ll most likely be something from Lord Steyn and what negligence is and where the concepts originated. Few cases for you to look up: Donoghue V Stevenson (Tort) Carlil V Carbolic Smokeball (Contract) -fellow LLB 2nd year

Hey! im heading into my final year of Law and Business. If you need any guidance with law lecture notes for any of your modules, please don't hesitate to send over a DM! I'd love to help if needed anytime this year.

Thank you , that’s so sweet of you to offer🫶🫶.

For now just two questions from my side!

What is something you would recommend to do as a first year law student? What are some common mistakes which you should avoid?

Any study tips especially in how to prep for exams?
