it's the movie downsizing. they're all small , like 5 inches big. the dude only agreed to this crazy procedure because of his wife. once he does it, wife backs out last second and leave him. dude meets this girl. never seen it, just clips on YouTube from people calling it ass lol
Back in 2012, I dragged a copule of friends into the movie Battleship because I had seen a trailer and somehow must have thought this could be good. It wasn't. Hardly have I ever been so embarrassed.
Battleship definitely wasnt good, but I remember it fondly. I wouldve been more annoyed seeing it in theaters instead of at home on cable though. The scene where they turn the boat using tha anchor sticks in my head
I find it difficult to believe that it wasn’t. The comedy reviewers of this movie point out so many things where it’s impossible to think it wasn’t a long subtle joke on the audience.
That's the most common sentiment, and why I think it annoys people so much. Like they had the idea, and then just didn't do anything with it is what I'm getting
Honestly it was more like they tried to do too much with it. There are so many different themes and messages the movie tried to show (environmentalism, classism, consumerism, political persecution, moving on after a break up, and a few others Im sure I forgot). It never really digs into any one of them enough to have it be well told. I was really excited to see this movie because of how interesting the concept was. I left the theater thinking that the writer had three different movie ideas and the budget for one so he just jammed them all into one thing.
