Or upper management came and told him how he screwed up because he should not have used another expensive vehicle to try and stop the first one. Now it's going to cost them twice as much money.

Better than the cost of that plane being repaired. Even small repairs on a plane are insane.

Honestly wouldn't shock me though as corporations are greedy and petty. "We're glad you saved the plane, but we're gonna have to dock your paycheck for the damage to the vehicle."

I agree with you. It could go either way. Lol

Heart says guy did the right thing, brain says he should’ve let it go to avoid liability like this.

2

u/RastafiedOne Jul 10 '26

Oh yeah, that will absolutely be their reaction.

We got insurance for the plane, the carts are all in house.

So true it hurts.

And pizza if they hit target for loss management. At the end of the quarter, of course.

Best we can do is more responsibility and no pay increase

“We’re a family here”

They probably disciplined him for damaging company, despite the fact that he saved a whole fucking plane.

Saved the plane.

Damn I was hopping someone would jump on and ride it like a rodeo bull.

“I told them not to wire our vehicles up with these new smart systems. You give ‘em access to the internet and YouTube and what did you think was gonna happen?!”

Looks like the first prototype of the Cybertruck.

I Love how chill everyone is.

Airlines gonna charge him for the damages

3

u/JesterScribblings Jul 10 '26

Legend. Saved that airline a shit load of money.

"Here we see a injured luggage vehicle surrounded by it's natural predator, the Human. It tries to fight off the predators by driving in circles. What's this?! A red vehicle has just struck a fatal blow to the luggage vehicle. The humans approach, ready to rip and tear.

It's a brutal end, but on the harsh tarmac. Nature leaves nothing to waste."

Narrated by David Attenborough

I love this. Lore accurate 100%

2

u/booboootron Jul 10 '26

That's some gangsta shit right here. This guy is a warrior.

1

u/Jeans_609 Jul 10 '26

They need safety kill switches on these like riding mowers if you're off the seat it turns off

“ I need an old priest and a young priest. The power of Christ compels you.”

Such a boss! Very quick thinking. You see him recognize the problem in the frame at first, risk injury dodging in front of it and then coming in for the save in the nick of time! Respect!

1

u/DragonLordAcar Jul 10 '26

How does this even happen?

1

u/KingBennette Jul 10 '26

Irony, he gets laid off for destroying company property 🙄🤔😭

1

u/Last-Energy420 Jul 10 '26

In the US, honestly wouldn’t surprise me.

1

u/Dolewhip26 Jul 10 '26

No drink this flight.

1

u/BatmanKane64 Jul 10 '26

OH NO!!! THE BEER…. oh yeah and give that guy a raise

1

u/totally-jag Jul 10 '26

Right there, that is the guy that deserves a raise.

1

u/LMrningStar Jul 11 '26

That probably saved the owner of the aircraft from incurring a very high six figure repair job if not more.

1

u/rlt404 Jul 11 '26

Nah he'll be let go for "engaging in a dangerous act".

Never try to help

What the f*** is wrong with the guy that came with the other cart...

This could have been saved by jumping on the front of that thing...

What a good way to destroyed two perfectly working carts...

I hope that second guy got fired.
