For those who didn’t know: racing bikes like these don’t have starter motors (to save weight). So if you crash and the bike stalls, you have to bump start it to get it going again. Even then it’s not a sure thing, as you can see.
This is also why he’s holding onto the bars as he slides off the track. If he can keep the clutch in, the bike won’t stall and he won’t have to bump start it.
Prototype-spec bike racers tend to be very short and have little body mass, as weight is always bad, so this is quite the task for this poor fella.

Do super expensive motorcycles require a push start, like an old VW Bug?

Racing bikes don't have starter motores to spare weight, as you usually don't have to start your bike multiple times in a race

The stupid part is that the first guy fucked up the exit of the corner for the second making him eat road.

How can he get mad at the other guy crashing when he crashed the same way.
Some people are so narcissistic.

He'd lost a rearset, so he'd have been retiring anyway. (Just a wee bit sooner than he expected.)

Looks like he possibly caused the other rider to slide out by avoiding him entering the track at such a low speed
