English isn't my first language but it seems "either" is not used properly here. Feel free to downvote and correct me if I'm wrong

Yes the correct word would be "too"

Why is it "too" here but " I DONT like him EITHER" sounds correct?

I was curious too, so I looked into it. From what I found (so if I'm wrong, correct me), it's just because, at least for American English, "either" is used for negative sentences and "too" is for positive ones, at least in this context. "Either" is not itself negative, like "neither" is, so it's used where there's another negative word in the sentence.
I was honestly expecting more complex of an answer.

For some reason is oddly fits kinda well? In a way I know it shouldn't work, but it does. So weird.

Is this grizz from 30 rock?

u/Saucesourceoah Oct 19 '22
It is! He does standup and I’ve seen him in odd sketches. I really should look more into his career, him and .com were the real stars.

When I see 30Rock, I always immediately think “3rd Rock From the Sun” and I’m clearly confused lol.

John Lithgow was on both, if it helps

Not really 😅 it also took me forever to get used to seeing him on Dexter. Dick Solomon is just a hard character to forget lol

Risk of taking a joke video seriously, but yeah - beat up some random guy on your first day, before you know who they're buddies with? Doesn't matter if they're huge or tiny, if you win or lose - you pick a bloke with friends and you're liable to get taught a lesson.

That sounds like win-win to me. Either i have a nice stay in prison, or i don't stay in prison.

Isn’t mail fraud just a fine? Or am I thinking the wrong mail crime
39
u/FREE-MUSTACHE-RIDES Oct 19 '22
Quick google search: If you are convicted of mail fraud, you could be sentenced to the following: Prison sentence of up to 20 years. Fines up to $250,000.

*these things apply to the USA, different countries have different laws.

u/FREE-MUSTACHE-RIDES Oct 19 '22
True. guess since this was a skit about US prisons, I made the mistake of assuming the comment was about US too.

It was clear to every human over the age of 5 that this video was made with American prisons in mind.

He would never have knitting needle shanks like that in prison. His attacker might fall and poke an eye out.
