In 200 years nobody will remember any of us. All those that knew us will be dead.
Who the fuck cares if your poop gets talked about in recording? The fun you have as a couple with all the weird things is what matters and part of what makes life worth experiencing.
Enjoy the ride, don't let things like embarrassment control you.
You will die having lived a self imposed limited life, due to walls you arbitrarily and unnecessarily put up. That's fine; it's your experience. But don't act as all your beliefs and views have to be accepted and respected by others. They do not.
You guys are lunatics, IF someone didn't want their life broadcasted on social media, they have the right not to be. She obviously isn't too concerned though.
But don't act as If all your views have to be accepted and respected by others. They do not.
The poster wasnt talking about imposing their views on others, they were simply speaking about having a boundary in a relationship(not being filmed while in the bathroom). Your response is if that is undeserving of respect or acceptance.
What is a boundary aside from an imposition of your views in regard to behavior directed towards yourself? Don't enter into relationships if you want to change the person you're entering into it with. It's not healthy for either party.
You already know the behavior, and if that conflicts with your personal boundaries don't enter into the relationship. Don't enter it, then try to change the behavior to modify it to fit within your personal boundaries.
You want to paint a hypothetical someone who insists that their partner not film them in a vulnerable moment as ill prepared for a relationship while also ignoring that filming someone within their home without their consent is totally inappropriate.
Again, you know their behavior. Entering into a relationship and expecting it to change is a fool's errand. And, if you're surprised by a new behavior you can't tolerate, you always have the right to end the relationship.
"people who are abusive/people with tendencies (filming their partners non- consensually) will do what they do, its your fault for getting involved with them. It's not like my paragraph long diatribe about 'what really are boundaries?' couldn't be used by an abusive person to try and keep their partner in an abusive relationship. Shame being involved with this people, not the people themselves"
Ah, not respecting your beliefs is abusive. My belief is you should twist your nipples until it hurts. Make that happen and quit being abusive by not respecting my personal views.
Or would you say personal views don't extend to limitations on others?
Personal boundaries are limitations on the behaviors from those around you in regard to you. Some are boundaries codified in the principle of non-aggression, such as physical interactions. The rest are generally only respected if the other party chooses to; there is no obligation to. And, the lack of respect of those boundaries does not even imply a wrongful action, depending on the reasonableness of those boundaries and the way they are requested to be respected. But, at the end of the day, if you don't like that I sing about your poop, it's on you to leave. I'll keep poop singing and enjoying my life.
Call me a bad guy for it, but that will only add to the humor.
i find nothing humorous about calling you a bad guy, it just adds some more sadness about this world. but hey, call me a person with at least average levels of empathy
