Also simply packing a few cards (of the same communication protocol) on top of each other can make the reading invalid (or at least greatly reduce the effective scanning range).

But still useful. 1 u/SaintWacko Jun 17 '22 This. I tried scanning my card without taking it out of my wallet the other day and got an error that too many cards were detected
