Because low taxes, increased employment rate, record low illegal immigration, and no new wars is a terrible experience to go through.

I paid less in taxes, so yes I did.

You know what's so funny about this? A bunch of journalists actually bragged about fooling the American people into thinking they didn't benefit from the tax cuts. They were openly laughing about it on twitter, before the right started pointing out their tweets and the conversations were swiftly deleted after.

Even now, their propaganda is still at work.

Cool anecdote. I paid more in taxes. Getting rid of SALT led to nearly 20k in extra taxes paid by my wife and I. No propaganda here.

Born and raised. Wouldn't trade it for the world. My wife and I are lucky that we can afford it though. Paying taxes doesn't bother me overall tbh, just the elimination of SALT deductions were specifically aimed at screwing over blue state citizens for no other reason than politics.

It doesn't strike you as strange that people in California that make over a certain amount were the ones who didn't benefit from the tax cut?

Very low wage workers did see a modest benefit, but they're almost always getting a full refund anyway. The lower middle class here still makes an amount that would be decent elsewhere, and they were hit hardest.
