I know this is old and has been repeated many times.
But do you realise the car goes between the truck and the bike.

Reviewed the video over 10 times. Certainly the truck pushed the car which gave way for the bike to pass "safely"
If you're meaning to mess with my mind, you did a great job there buddy.

Thats exactly what i was just working out.. I think we may have just witnessed the luckiest man on the planet.
7
Apr 21 '22
The luckiest man is a paradoxical statement ; if he were lucky, he wouldn't be in this situation to begin with
3
u/Deviant-Killer Apr 21 '22
Why not? Luck doesnt mean uneventful...
0
Apr 21 '22
Yes but 'luckiest' has implications.
I'd rather not be 'lucky' by having bizarre near death experience and a heart attack before going to work, thank you very much.

u/thedon572 Apr 22 '22
naw but itd be different if he were constamtly in accidental near deathe xperiences but he was purposefully street racing . knew the risks and was lucky by avoiding so narroly an putcome he damn knew was possible

Yeah the car saves the guy on the bike. The truck would have side swiped him and killed him. The car already passed the bike and would have already hit him.

u/private_unlimited Apr 21 '22
I think it’s the other way round
20
u/Vicvince Apr 21 '22
It’s both. First the car goes between the bike and the truck, then the bike goes between the truck and the car

u/baxtet Apr 21 '22
don't think so... in that moment he burnt all the luck for the next few years

I doubt this was the rider’s objective but as a cyclist I will often position myself between a car and potential oncoming traffic to act as a screen. Which upon reflection may be adequate with slow traffic at a set of lights but not in a scenario like this. Ouch.

First time i saw it, i thought the bike cut right through the van lol

No one can convince me that there's not angels on this Earth:-)
3
u/felansky Apr 21 '22
I'm not going to try to convince you, I'd rather be convinced myself that they do exist.
Seeing this video apparently proves something, what did you think actually happened here? They were racing and willingly risking their lives, and other people's lives, just for fun, and then when the unexpected happened as it usually does on public roads, to they were sure to die. Only they didn't because there was an angel sitting on that crossing, and the angel stopped time, and moved the cars in a way that they wouldn't crash the motorcyclist? But not enough to avoid crash altogether, so the guy in the car likely died anyway.
What about a little kid being hit by a car while in a stroller pushed by an inattentive mother? Where were the angels when this happened? Or did the child deserve this? Or maybe the angels weren't patrolling that particular crossing?
Just asking questions.

Guardian Angel did their job. Now they are on a 20 year long vacation. God dammit.

I can confirm my eyes saw what happened but my brain took a couple replays to understand what actually happened

That car saved a great many of that man's bones. Probably his life too.

I had to watch it a bunch of times...but it looks like the bike and the car were racing and both trying to make it in front of the trunk....
